ITS BEEN A WHILE EEK...
So Ladies and any Gents out there (who it seems are ever increasingly more caring about their appearance than us women) it has been a while..... 6 months actually, got out of the whole blogging and kind of forgot what it was i wanted to achieve when first starting this up!!! which of corse was to use this space to share my knowledge and also a place where you can let other women oh and men hehe.. know your secrets ;)
DONT BE GETTING BORED ON ME NOW!!! LOL
So I have been on a soul searching jouirney... i kid you not!!! and have decided that for me personally being "beautiful" is not about your fake tan or how many lashes you have stapled on your face (although i must say i'm a huge fan) or even what you look like... but infact being beautiful is feeling beautiful and the confidence you exude. The one thing i think men and women can agree on is that bad skin makes you feel like you want to hide under any brown paper bag you can get your mitts on :/
Soooooooooo.....
I am taking on a challenge to see what works best and whether these fancey facials, electrical proceedures and pricey creams are all they are cracked up to be...
Over the coming weeks i am trying out the following:
1st up i am going to start with a £4.99 Garnier daily wash called PURE ACTIVE EXFO-BRUSHER WASH - This is supposed to show results after just one use promoting the fight against the god awful blackheads (curse you) and reducing brown spots.
2nd up is going to be a home version on Dermaroller (called Rio Derma Roller) which is a micro needling device which pricks your skin and increases your body's production of collagen (the bodys miracle juice). The device is rolled over the skin (but shouldnt bleed eek) and this is said to be fantastic for scaring, stretchmark (god i hate those), acne scaring and this can be used all over the body as far as i know :) The home device is a mere £29.99 in comparrison to £1000's in salons so holding fingers crossed for this one :)
3rd of all i have a course of Microdermabrasion which is where the top layer of skin is exfoliated off with a crystal wand, A course of 3 can set you back a few hundred however you can pick up a bargain on KGB deals where i got my course for a mere £29...
So ladies wish me luck and i will keep you posted... Please comment if you have used any of these items and wish to share your intilect or enlighten us into any miracle skin remedees you have come across ;) xxx
